Our health can be influenced by a number of factors such family history, sleeping patterns and quality of sleep, level of stress, digestive health, current diet and its quality of nutrients and activity all will have a stamp on our current and long term health. Obviously, there will be times that situations go beyond our control but what we can do is take action with certain factors and allow us take control of our health.
Establishing a sleep routine, managing stress more effectively, eating a diet based around quality foods , ensuring hydration demands are met and regular exercise will help with not only our current health, but future health too.
Five Stars From Me
After seeing the results my husband had with Paul, I decided to meet with him and hopefully loose a few pounds. On our first visit I explained to Paul how I suffered badly with IBS and in recent weeks it had got progressively worse. Paul’s priority was to sort out my digestive system and get me feeling better in myself. After filling out a comprehensive questionnaire. Paul came up with a initial protocol to help my digestion. After following his advice as best I could, I could feel the benefits as the weeks went on and also my body start to take shape. The difference from start to now is night and day. This year was the first holiday I can remember not reaching for medication daily or feeling bloated and in pain with IBS. I know feel confident in my body and not always worrying when my next IBS flare up will be. I’m delighted I decided to meet with Paul and would highly recommend him to others.
Where Do I Begin
I first started working with Paul almost 8 years ago and his PT sessions at the time are still some of the most education and intense (ha) sessions I have ever put down in the gym to date and what I learned during those sessions, I have referred back to time and time again over the years.
A few months into Covid in 2020 I reached out again. I work as a nurse and well this was probably the most stressed I’ve ever been in my career. I have always been a big advocate of getting out exercising and going to the gym to clear my head but when Covid hit. It took that lifeline away from me and I was finding it difficult to cope. I felt very lost, was under eating hugely and having the gyms close really nearly pushed me over the edge with stress as I had no outlet, If it wasn’t for Paul’s patience and guidance I’d easily be in a very difficult place now.
I can’t recommend his coaching enough. He’s not your everyday coach that just focuses on physical results or goals but looks at each client as a whole and offers a service that is second to none.
I have maintained my physique throughout the madness of Covid and I have learned to manage my stress whilst learning that the gym sessions aren’t the be all and end all and that nutrient dense foods, sleep, rest and fluids are the foundation we build health and physically changes on.
I have also thanks to Paul’s coaching got my period back after 12 years of irregular cycles I’m working like clockwork something I never thought possible especially during COVID. My mood has improved and he has thought me so much I feel I have the tools to go forward by myself however I know in the morning if I’m stuck in a pickle, he’s only ever a what’s app away like he always is.
